Our Impact
In 2022, 228,000+ PEOPLE throughout Southern California: Santa Maria, LA County, Orange County & the Coachella Valley received food from our distributions.
In 2023, from our 11 monthly distributions:
4,600 families or 18,400 individuals in LA County, Santa Maria and the Coachella Valley are receiving produce & grocery bags each month.
From Home-y Made Meals & Community Fridge Fills:
3,400 Home-y Made meals & 1,120 recovered Everytable meals are distributed throughout LA & Orange Counties each month.
As leaders in food justice, we understand the systemic inequities that have created food apartheid in our city. At Polo’s Pantry, we serve marginalized communities who are not offered the access to the healthy food that is required to survive and thrive.
We help to nourish low-income, unhoused, Black, Indigenous, people of color and undocumented communities throughout Los Angeles County, Santa Maria and the Coachella Valley.
Each distribution serves different neighborhoods. Elders, families, youth and anyone in between is welcome. We don’t require sign ups, phone numbers, or identification. Our distributions are by the people and for the people, no questions asked. If someone is hungry, they can come eat.
