Creating Justice LA Peace & Healing Center

The Creating Justice LA (CJLA) Peace & Healing Center is a place of innovation, creativity and exploration. Located in LA’s rich Skid Row neighborhood, the center is a soothing, calming and interactive respite from the world outside its doors.

The Skid Row Peace & Healing Center provides shared meals and mending community through art, meditation, and power-building. They provide immersive education in music, health and fitness, creative expression, visual art, photography, entrepreneurship and more. Anchored by The Hip Hop Smoothie Shop (and with support from Polo’s Pantry, Skid Row Coffee, and Skid Row People’s Market), the CJLA Peace and Healing Center serves healthy food and smoothies to community and houseless residents eat and drink at no cost to them.
