Vision
We believe that food is a human right, and approach our work through the lens of environmental, racial, and food justice, which hold that the solution to food insecurity lies in fighting all forms of systemic inequality. Our organization is working to create a just, food-sovereign future, where services like ours are no longer needed.
What We Do
Polo’s Pantry is a Los Angeles based WOC-founded, grassroots organization dedicated to the nourishment and care of food insecure communities throughout Southern California. In partnership with community leaders, we bring dependable food access and culturally relevant nourishment to food insecure communities.
Our mobile pantry and food distribution programs are sourced sustainably from recovered produce, family farms, street vendors, and local food-makers. Through innovative food recovery, ethical food purchasing, and community care, our goal is to contribute towards a more just and food sovereign world.
